A national 24-hour helpline 1800 77 8888 is available, offering a confidential listening and support service for women and men who have been raped, sexually assaulted, sexually harassed or sexually abused at any time in their lives.
Womens Aid
24 hour national freephone available to support those affected by abuse, working to make women and children safe from domestic violence. A Dublin based one to one support service Monday to Friday.
Mental Health Ireland
Mental Health Ireland, aims to support individuals with mental health difficulties by promoting positive mental health and wellbeing in conjuction with the HSE
Tusla
Dedicated state agency responsible for the welfare and safety of children. Their website contains a guide to help you when considering reporting a child protection or welfare concern to Tusla.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Dedicated to helping anyone suffering because of their drinking. Main requirement to become a member is to have the desire to stop drinking.

The Samaritans
A 24 hour, 7 days a week support service for anyone who is struggling, isolated and needs some human contact. They have a new dedicated Ireland only email jo@samaritans.ie to help those who seek and receive emotional support when most in need.
Pieta House
Supporting those in crisis by providing free accessible confidential services. Suicide bereavement support, those with suicide ideation or who participate in self harming are among the services offered.
